The ClozeFox plug-in that we are developing for Jetpack for Learning Design Challenge started to get feedback from other users. One of my colleagues, Yusuf Aslan, provided valuable feedback about various features of the plug-in.

ClozeFox in action, reporting your results to Twitter

It is obvious that Yusuf’s knowledge of Dutch surpasses me As you can see from the screenshot ClozeFox reports the results of your language test to Twitter using predefined hashtags along with the shortened URL of the page you struggled with. This way it is easy to track the performance of your friends or students using already available social media tools.

In the meantime we keep on fixing bugs and adding new features such as suggesting pages in simple Dutch, so if it is difficult for a Dutch learner to test herself with a regular Dutch text she can try simpler pages. In that case I had better scores with a simpler page (but still not good enough to satisfy the high expectations of my Dutch teachers at Linguapolis )
